My husband and I have gone several times without kids, and had planned to go next year before we knew we were pregnant. We are hoping to take our 1 yr old daughter still, but are wondering if there is really any rides a 1 year old is allowed on.

You can take your one year old daughter with you on any attraction for which there is no height restriction.

In the Magic Kingdom, some of the attractions that have no height restrictions are: Buzz Lightyear, Carousel of Progress, Monster's Inc Laugh Factory, Peter Pan's Flight, Mickey's Philharmagic, Dumbo, Cinderella's Carousel, the teacups, it's a small world, the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Ariel's Grotto, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Aladdin's Magic Carpets, and the Tiki Room. That's just some of the things your daughter could experience in just one of the theme parks. Don't forget the parades, shows, fireworks, character dining, and character greeting experiences that your daughter could enjoy.

I too visited WDW with my hubby before we had kids. We had a great time having leisurely meals and zooming around on the roller coasters. But I have to tell you that nothing compares to experiencing Disney World with your child. Seeing WDW through a child's eyes is amazing. A baby will notice things at the parks that you never did: colors, shapes, sounds and tastes that are all brand new. Is traveling with a baby a different sort of trip than traveling with adults? Yes. Is it absolutely worth it? You bet!
