Ahoy, Shannon!
Congratulations on your very first Disney Cruise! I know you are so excited to experience all the magic and wonder of Disney at sea when you cast off on your adventure with Captain Mickey!
This is an excellent question, and I'm happy to provide you with some helpful tips as you pack your bags for your magical voyage. Liquids such as shampoo, body wash, makeup, shaving gel can all be packed in your checked baggage if you prefer, and size does not matter. Disney Cruise Line does ask that you pack any liquids such as alcohol (21 and older), soft drinks, juices and bottled water in your carry-on luggage. These also must be in their original container and unopened. Disney Cruise Line's
alcohol policy states that any Guest 21 years and older can bring on two bottles of wine and/or champagne (no larger than 750ml) or six beers (no larger than 12 ounces) both at embarkation and at any of the ports of call.
One important tip to remember is to keep your cruise docs,
passports (or birth certificates with Government- issued photo IDs), medications and anything else you might think you'll need in your carry-on. Your luggage will arrive throughout the afternoon, but sometimes can take a while. It's nice to have a bathing suit, flip-flops and sunscreen if you want to relax around the
Quiet Cove Pool while you wait on your stateroom (they are typically ready around 1:30 p.m.) or during the afternoon.
Best wishes for a pixie dusted time on your first Disney Cruise, Shannon! If you have any other last minute questions, let us know.
