Hello Beverly! Welcome back to planDisney!
A summer vacation at
Walt Disney World Resort is a sunny and special treat, especially if you have your children and grandchildren making magical memories with you! From the Theme Parks to the
Water Parks to
Disney Springs, you may find that you need more than a day or two to explore all that the Resort has to offer!
I think it's a lovely idea to purchase Theme Park Tickets for your son and his family, though you will only be able to purchase the four children's tickets at your Florida Resident rate. All Guests ages 18 and over must be able to show
Proof of Florida Residency to enter the Theme Parks, so your son and the other adult in your party will have to purchase Standard Theme Park Tickets. However, children under the age of 18 do not need to show Proof of Residency, so as long as you're with them you can show it to get them into The Most Magical Place on Earth! You can even verify your residency online ahead of time, when you purchase the Tickets online, allowing you to skip a quick stop at any Guest Relations window when you arrive.
Walt Disney World Resort
Theme Park Ticket prices vary day to day and by time of year. For prices for the exact dates of your trip log in to your
My Disney Experience account on the Walt Disney World website. Here, you'll be able to see the prices and
Special Offers for Florida Residents.
When purchasing your Theme Park Tickets you may find that the Florida Resident rate and the Standard Theme Park Ticket rate are the same depending on which days you're planning to visit. Some Florida Resident Ticket offers don't start until you purchase more days in the Parks! Keep this in mind when deciding how many days to spend at the Resort!
When you're visiting, make sure to stay out "late" for the magical nighttime fireworks display,
Disney Enchantment. This amazing show, happening nightly, is a beautiful and mesmerizing way to finish off a magical day at the Parks.
