My husband and I are Florida residents. Can I buy discounted tickets for my children and grandchildren.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Linda! It makes me so happy to know that you’re considering a family visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for sending us your question.

You can absolutely purchase Florida Resident theme park tickets for your grandchildren, yourself and your husband. Guests over the age of 18, like your adult children, will be asked to show Proof of Florida Residency in order to use theme park tickets meant for Florida Residents. So they would not be able to use these tickets if they live out of state.

In order to activate your tickets, you can visit any ticket window at all four theme parks or the Disney Springs Guest Services location.

Linda, you can still share some benefits with your family. You can use your Florida Resident status to take advantage of Special Offers at Disney Resort hotels. Your family is welcome to stay with you!

I hope I’ve been helpful. If you have any other questions, you can always come back to see us. Helping you with the details of your next magical visit is our pleasure!
