My husband and I are going on our first cruise for our honeymoon in February and I am a little confused about the dinner and show. Is the show that it refers to the shows under the entertainment tab on the website or are these completely separate shows?

Welcome aboard, Shani! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and honeymoon! What a wonderful way to begin your lives as a married couple!

You asked about a dinner and show. I'm not exactly sure to what show you're referring, but I can explain a few things that might help! If you're asking about the show night at Animator's Palate, let me tell you about it! Animator's Palate is an amazing restaurant that includes a special "show" during your dinner seating. Depending on which ship you're sailing, there are different magical parts to the show. For example, on the Fantasy and Dream, during the "Undersea Magic" show, Crush the sea turtle swims around to interact with the guests. Last week we had quite a fun conversation with Crush when we were on the Dream! My kids are still laughing about his comments to us! The Fantasy and longer 7-night cruises on the Magic also include "Animation Magic" where your own hand-drawn characters come to life on screen! The Magic's shorter sailings include "Drawn To Magic" where the black and white restaurant slowly becomes colored as you watch Disney sketches around the room come to life, followed by a montage video of Disney films that brings tears to my eyes! Finally, the Wonder's show night in Animator's Palate brings the black and white restaurant to full color before your eyes!

The ships also have Broadway-style musical shows each night. These are performed in the Walt Disney Theatre. There are two show times each night. Those with the early dinner will enjoy the second show after dinner. Those dining during the later dinner seating will attend the first show in the theatre before dinner. These shows are those listed on Disney Cruise Line's website under the Entertainment Tab, then under Live Shows. My family's favorites are Dreams and Believe!

I hope that helps answer your question, Shani! Happy planning and happy honeymoon!
