    My husband and I have an early departure from our cruise in April with an 11:25am flight out of Orlando. We are planning to use Disney transport, but am wondering if we would get out faster with a cab and carrying our own luggage off the ship? Thank you!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Panel! We are so happy you are hEAR! I'm glad you asked this question because I want the end of your vacation to be as stress-free as possible! Disney Cruise Line does recommend that all flights be booked after 11:30 a.m. so I think using the Express Walk Off option is a good fit for you and your husband in April. On the last night of your sailing you will keep your luggage in your stateroom instead of placing it outside by 10:00 p.m. It's nice to let your stateroom host/hostess know that you plan to walk off so they will not be waiting on your luggage. Once the ship is cleared by U.S. Customs, you will be able to disembark on your own which is usually around 7:00 to 7:15 a.m. I've been in the Grand Lobby Atrium during this time, and Guests do start lining up before the ship is cleared so you may want to arrive a few minutes early if you want to be one of the first off the ship. My estimate is that you will be on your way to the Orlando Airport well before 8:00 a.m. if the ship is cleared around 7:00 a.m.
