My husband and I are going to DW for our 2nd anniversary. Where are the best places to eat if we are getting the dinning plan and want to stay away from the character dining?

    Kayla,

Congratulations! here are a few suggestions. If you see a (2) next to a meal, that means that it requires two Dining Plan table service credits, so you may not want to choose those restaurants. But here are my top selections, based on personal preference (in order). If you would like to send me a follow-up question from my bio page with information on what cuisines you like, I can offer you more specific recommendations.

    • California Grill at the Contemporary Resort (2) (American Contemporary)
    • Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (2) (African-inspired contemporary)
    • Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian Resort (2) (Seafood and American)
    • Flying Fish Cafe at the BoardWalk (2) (Seafood)
    • Hollywood Brown Derby at the Hollywood Studios (2) (American)
    • Artist's Point at Wilderness Lodge (2) (Pacific Northwest American)
    • Il Mulino at the Swan (Italian)
    • San Angel Inn at Epcot (Mexican)
    • Yak and Yeti at the Animal Kingdom Park (Asian)
    • Tutto Italia at Epcot (Italian)
    • at Epcot (Italian)
    • Rose and Crown at Epcot (English)
    • Chefs de France at Epcot (French)
    • Restaurant Marrakesh at Epcot (Moroccan)
    • Le Cellier at Epcot (Steak)
Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
