My husband and I are DVC members w/Kidani as our home. I want to reserve a 3 bedroom condo at Kidani Dec. 25-29, 2015. Can I reserve on Jan. 25, 2015 for all those days since Jan. 25 is 11 months before use.? Or will I be forced to wait until 1/19/15?

    Hi Michael!

Our family’s home resort is also Animal Kingdom Villas, and Kidani Village is our absolute favorite Disney Vacation Club Resort.

Since Animal Kingdom Villas is your home resort, you can indeed try to reserve a Grand Villa eleven months prior to your desired check-in date. For a reservation of December 25, 2015, you can reserve as early as January 25, 2015, for up to a maximum of seven nights allowing you to reserve your entire vacation at once.  You can either call Member Services or visit DVCMember.com to book your room. I prefer reserving online for popular times and locations.

The holidays truly are a magical time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, and spending it with family and friends in a Grand Villa sounds like a lovely way to experience it. Let us know what other questions you have as you plan your holiday gathering, we’d love to help!

    Have a magical day!
