Hello! My husband and I are DVC members and we are looking to plan a trip with my parents next year who are not DVC members. We plan to use our points to book a 2-bedroom villa at the Boardwalk. Is there a way to split the trip with points and cash?

Hi, Kelsey! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question.

This sounds like it will be an awesome vacation. And you're in a great spot for some grown up activities by staying at Disney's Boardwalk Villas. With restaurants, night clubs, and a stroll on the Boardwalk right outside your resort, it's a really awesome place to stay.

This definitely highlights the flexibility of being a Disney Vacation Club Member. You can indeed combine DVC points and cash for a DVC resort stay. The only thing to know is that you can't split the cost per night. For example, you can pay Monday night with cash or points, Tuesday night with cash or points, Wednesday night with cash or points - but you can't pay half of Monday with cash and half with points. The night has to be either all cash or all points.

Also, as DVC members, parking is free overnight at your DVC resort for the cars of anyone listed on your reservation. So if you and your parents are both driving, you'll both be able to park your cars for free overnight.

Have an absolutely magical vacation, Kelsey!
