My husband and I are going to dive at the EPCOT Sea Base. My parents and my 3 year old will be with us and of course want to watch us dive. They have reservations at the Coral Reef but I am wondering if they can watch us dive without dining?

    Jennifer,

Great question! As it happens last year we did just what you propose.

We wanted to surprise our kids, so my wife went off to "take care of some things back at the hotel" while I took the girls into Epcot. Meanwhile she went through the DiveQuest pre-dive steps with the rest of her class. They had given my wife a general idea of when we could expect to see her dive, so we returned around that time. She texted me right before she locked her personal items up, and then we headed to the central core of the pavilion. From there you get a pivotal view of their diving area. You can even interact with them via several of the windows, as well as get pictures.

By the way, my kids FREAKED OUT, but in a good way! It was classic!

As for watching from the restaurant, of course you can see them from there too. But I am sure they would not let you sit there to watch without dining. You can stay there during your meal, but they will need that table for the next patrons coming in.

    Does that answer your question?

    Have a magical vacation!
