So my husband and I are going to Disneyland just the two of us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and this is the first time we are going without our son so I want to book a room that’s really romantic, it doesn’t need to be at Dl hotel, just clos

Happiest of greetings, Sunshine! Welcome to planDisney, and a very big thank you for allowing us to be apart of this special celebration!

Happy Anniversary! I love celebrating life's milestones at Disney destinations, and a Disneyland anniversary getaway sounds like the perfect way to celebrate 25 wonderful years together. Based on your arrival date, I have a few ideas that I think would make your Silver Jubilee extra magical!

First, let me tell you why I think staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel is the perfect choice for an anniversary trip. It is magical being immersed in the Disney bubble from the moment you arrive until it's time to head home. Not only are you steps away from the theme parks, but you'll have easy access to the Downtown Disney District and all three Disneyland Resort hotels, giving you plenty of dining and entertainment options throughout your stay.

I checked availability for your indicated arrival weekend and found both Pixar Place Hotel and the Disneyland Hotel available. Of those two, my top recommendation for an anniversary celebration would be the Disneyland Hotel. It beautifully blends classic Disney nostalgia with elegant touches that inspires you to reflect on your own love story and all the memories you've created together over the years.

If it works within your budget, I would consider splurging on a Club Level room. Access to the High Key Club includes a continental breakfast, snacks throughout the day, evening hors d'oeuvres and wine service, nightly desserts, and fireworks viewing with the soundtrack piped into the lounge. It adds a layer of luxury that feels fitting for an anniversary celebration.

If Club Level isn't the right fit, my next recommendation would be a Deluxe Studio at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. Sunshine, I recently stayed in one, and they are beautiful! The rooms are fresh, modern, and comfortable while maintaining Disney charm. I love the illuminated headboards and decor. It feels both romantic and relaxing after a day of celebrating together.

As for dining, my usual first choice for a romantic Disneyland celebration is Blue Bayou Restaurant, but since it isn't available during your visit, I think Napa Rose would make an exceptional anniversary dinner. The beautiful setting, incredible cuisine, and intimate atmosphere make it one of the most romantic dining experiences at the resort. If you're looking for an extra special touch, arrive a little early for a pre-dinner stroll around Disney’s Grand Californian grounds before your reservation. The lobby is gorgeous and offers one of the loveliest backdrops at the Disneyland Resort for anniversary photos.

One additional suggestion: carve out some time to enjoy the Disneyland Railroad together with a full Grand Circle Tour. It may sound simple, but slowing down and taking in the sights together is a classic Disneyland experience that often becomes a favorite memory. I also recommend finding a spot to watch the nighttime spectaculars hand-in-hand. It is wonderfully romantic ending an anniversary day with fireworks over Sleeping Beauty Castle!

Sunshine, I wish you the happiest anniversary. No matter where you stay, where you dine, or what attractions you experience, the most important part is the 25 years of love, laughter, and memories you're celebrating together. Disney simply provides a beautiful backdrop for adding a few more pages to that story.

Sending lots of love and pixie dust your way!
