My husband and i are going to Disney the second week of Dec. How do i plan a dinner reservation time at the brown derby that will put me fairly close to the fantasmic show?

    Hi Joyce,

Early December is my favorite time to visit Disney World. The crowds are generally low, the weather pleasant and the holiday decorations are in full swing and are AMAZING!

Great dining choice with Brown Derby. The food is incredible, two of my favorites are the filet and grouper, and the setting is very 1930's Hollywood- very cool! Unfortunately the December calendar hours will not be available for a couple of months, so there is no way of knowing show times for Fantasmic quite yet. Occasionally the show is offered twice on the same evening and typically begins around 7pm or 9pm.

I would allow at least ninety minutes for your dinner, and a better cushion would be two hours. You will want to be in line for Fantasmic seats at least thirty to forty five minutes before the show begins. Given this, I would make my reservation around three hours prior to the scheduled show time. When making your reservation, be sure to ask the Cast Member about the Fantasmic dinner show. This "package" provides you with access to a select section of seats reserved for dinner package guests only. This will allow you to cut out waiting as long in the general admission line. The packages are limited though so be sure to call ninety days in advance at 407-939-3463.

What a great night you have planned!
