Hi! My husband and I are going to Disney 4th of July week. We're doing a split stay with AKL and we're thinking the BC, but are not sure. We've stayed there before in Feb and the pool Was crowded, is it worse in the summer? What do u think? Thank u!!

Hi Samantha! You know the Independence Day fireworks at Walt Disney World will be magical!

I've split stays between the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Beach Club on my Disney vacations too -- I love both of those resorts! I've visited the Beach Club during various times of year, and while the Stormalong Bay pool is always busy, I've never had trouble finding chairs. Since the weather in July is usually fairly hot, it's likely the pools at all the resorts will be pretty busy during your visit. Many people leave the parks late in the afternoon to enjoy some pool time, so Stormalong Bay is generally most crowded in the afternoon. If you want to enjoy the pool with less people, consider going in the morning, when you'll have your choice of lounge chairs. The Beach Club also has a quiet pool, so if Stormalong Bay is hectic, you could always visit the other pool, which is generally less crowded.

Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
