Welcome back, Kitzze!
My family and I have loved our
Halloween on the High Seas sailings with Disney Cruise Line. Every Disney voyage is magical, but a holiday sailing at sea with Captain Mickey and his crew brings so much more in the way of activities and events, your cruise will be chock-full of fun!
The Bahamas are lovely in the fall, though it's the rainy season, so you'll want to check the weekly forecast right before you leave and bring a rain jacket just in case. The highs are usually in the upper 80's to low 90's and the lows only dip into the mid-70's so expect summer-like temperatures. However, I get chilly at night out on deck and the breezy days at sea can be cooler too, so bring a light jacket or sweater. Inside the ship, I tend to be cold as well, especially in the theaters and the restaurants, so I always carry an extra layer, just in case! Keep that in mind as you begin to make your
packing list.
I hope you've started researching the amazing
Port Adventures offered by Disney Cruise Line for Nassau and Castaway Cay. There is something for everyone, so I am sure you can find an adventure that sounds perfect for you and your husband to enjoy, Kitzze! In Nassau, a visit to Atlantis, Blue Lagoon, or the Graycliff Chocolatier are always favorites in my book! And we always squeeze in snorkeling in the lagoon at Castaway Cay! Last time, a sea turtle swam right under us! So cool!
Have so much fun, and please stop back with any other questions as you continue to plan for this fall cruise! We're happy to help!
