Welcome to planDisney, Rachel.
Rachael, your magical day is just a hop, skip, and a jump away! Before you make like T-I-Double-GRRRR and bounce to another park, you will want to ensure that it is not at capacity.
The capacity limit for
park hopping is not tied directly to the
Disney Park Pass system. It is possible that a theme park may not have sold out of reservations for the day, but it has reached capacity later, meaning you can no longer hop. It is also possible that a sold-out theme park opens up a bit more later in the day, so you may get a chance to experience all the magic that the Magic Kingdom has to offer on your springtime vacation.
Before you spring on over to Magic Kingdom you will want to make sure the park is "Hoppable." To do this, simply open your
My Disney Experience Mobile App to check the hours listed for park hopping. You will find park-hopping hours listed directly under the main theme park hours. If you see theme park hours listed in the app, this means that the park has not yet reached capacity and you can head on over! Remember that you must have made a theme park reservation for earlier in the day AND entered your reserved theme park in order to take advantage of the park hopper option.
I hope that this helped, Rachel. Please bounce on back over to planDisney if we can help you with any other questions!
