    My husband is 100% disabled veteran but does not have his status printed on his veterans card. Will a letter indicating 100% suffice for the Disney cruise discount? Or does he need to get a new DoD ID?

I’m so glad you decided to bring us your question about the special military rates available on select Disney Cruise Line cruises. As a military spouse and veteran, I am pleased to assist you with this information. 

    Disney Cruise Line offers special military rates on select Disney Cruise Line sailings for retired and active U.S. Military Personnel and their spouses, as well as 100% disabled veterans. To take advantage of this special pricing, your husband will need to have his 100% disabled veteran status shown on his military identification card. Unfortunately, the VA letter will not suffice when showing proof of military status. You can visit your nearest military installation and request that he be issued a new military identification card that shows his disabled veteran status.
