Hi Adrianne! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question! As a momma to two girls myself, I know how excited you are to be planning a magical day for your girls at Magic Kingdom Park and it sounds like you are well on your way to a most royal celebration for your two princesses!
Since you have already secured a highly coveted reservation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, I would love to tell you about the Royal Portrait Studio inside
Sir Mickey's gift shop just across from the castle entrance to the boutique! After your girls have completed their magical transformation, you can stop in for some regal photos that you will treasure for years to come! These photo downloads will be included in your Memory Maker purchase! My girls also loved stopping in to show off their makeovers and dresses to their favorite princesses after their appointments; you can meet them at
Princess Fairytale Hall in Fantasyland.
If your girls are thrill-seekers, there are some rides with a more minimal
height requirement in Magic Kingdom Park that they may want to experience - the
Barnstormer was both of my girls' first roller coasters! At 35 inches, they can fly through the air with the Great Goofini! If they meet the mark at 38 inches,
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is another great choice for younger riders - it's a smooth coaster that will enchant them with the dwarfs working in the mine and images of Snow White's story throughout!
You can also look into the
Rider Switch option if your older daughter meets the requirements for certain rides that your younger daughter may not; this will allow each parent to accompany your eligible child on the ride without having to wait two separate times!
You will also not want to miss the
Festival of Fantasy Parade and the nighttime fireworks show
Happily Ever After. My favorite spot to catch the parade is near Liberty Square; we like to grab a Fruit and Nutella Waffle at
Sleepy Hollow to enjoy while we wait for it to pass by, and it is usually less crowded than Main Street, U.S.A. For the fireworks, I prefer to be facing Cinderella Castle to have the best view of the projections and fireworks together!
Adrianne, the years fly so quickly as our girls grow and change, and I'd love to share my most treasured souvenirs from our visits to the Walt Disney World Resort over the years are the
silhouette portraits we have had done by artists in Magic Kingdom. They capture their profile lines to such an exact likeness in just a few quick minutes and watching the differences in them over the years brings me such a unique joy and nostalgia of their time growing up. You can usually find them at a cart in an alleyway near Crystal Arts on Main Street, or sometimes outside of the Ye Olde Christamas Shoppe in Liberty Square.
I hope you have the most amazing vacation and hold tight to the joy of watching your girls get lost in the magic!
Princess hugs and pixie dust,
Alison
