Hi Jennifer,
Thank you for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope you are having a practically perfect day.
I’m glad to hEAR you have a vacation planned to The Happiest Place on Earth - it’s where magical memories happen every day! We have little Mouseketeers in our family and have utilized Rider Switch many times when our kids were not tall enough to ride or not ready to ride an attraction. My husband and I would “switch” waiting with our little one so the other could ride.
Rider Switch is for Guests with Children that don’t meet the height requirement or do not wish to ride the attraction. There will be a Cast Member present near every attraction, let this Cast Member know that you are interested in utilizing the Rider Switch Pass and he/she will hand you a Rider Switch Pass and let you know where the second Adult will enter the line. Then the first Adult riding will wait in the regular line to enjoy the attraction. Once finished, you will “switch” and the second Adult will enter where the Cast Member advised you on. Whenever my family utilized this service, we would all be present when asking the Cast Member for the Rider Switch Pass.
I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please visit us here and let us know how we can help you plan your magical vacation.
Wishing you a magical adventure at The Happiest Place on Earth!
~ Lynette
