My husband, daughter and I will be visiting DL for the MNSSHP this October. Since our daughter was born Nov. 2nd this will be her last of "first holiday" experiences. Do you have any suggestions on how we can make the event even more memorable?

    Hi there Kristin,

Thank you for making a magical stop here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The Disney Parks are all about celebrating, especially "first holiday" experiences.

I love hEARing how sentimental you are about your daughter's first experiences! We are the same way; we began our kids adventure at The Happiest Place on Earth when they were babies too. When they were that little we enjoyed utilizing the Disney PhotoPass Photographers to take magical photos of them in iconic spots in the parks. Then each year we try to repeat this pose. I also recommend you visit Disney Character Meet 'N' Greets, zoom in when you're taking some of the pictures, these angles can turn out to be gems! Since you will be there during Halloween Time, it will be cute to have a Disney Villian picture with your princess as well.

Take some time to enjoy some of the Halloween special treats like the Pumpkin Beignets from the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square or the Apple Pie Funnel Cake from Hungry Bear Restaurant in Critter Country.

Over on Main Street, U.S.A. is the Silhouette Studio, a skilled artist hand-cuts your silhouette on the spot and you receive an extra copy of it with your purchase. The artists can put multiple Guests in one portrait or she can put your daughter's silhouette with a silhouette of a Disney Character together. Now how cute would that be?! It only takes about 5 minutes but is a timeless souvenir.

I hope this helps and that you enjoy the magic of Disney. If you have any more questions, please write me back on how I can help you plan your pixie-dusted vacation.

    Wishing you a Boo-tastic time!
