Hey, Mimi! Thanks for swinging by
planDisney with your question.
First, I LOVE that family tradition! Any tradition that includes some delicious seafood is a tradition I can get behind 100%.
There are a few things to hash out here. If I could find Dungeness crab on the menu at any of the restaurants right now, I can't promise you that it will still be there when you visit on Christmas Eve.
Walt Disney World is renowned for changing up menus seasonally, utilizing fresh ingredients, and sourcing some of the best food out there. There's a decent chance that something like Dungeness crab would be one of those things that could come and go from a menu.
The other thing to keep in mind is that many of the
Walt Disney World restaurants offer special holiday menus. You may not find the menus available for me to reference today available on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
So, with all of that on the table, there are some truly excellent seafood options that may offer you something that will help keep the tradition alive.
Paddlefish in Disney Springs is a seafood restaurant that usually has crab on the menu - I've seen both snow crab and king crab there. You can also reasonably rely on
Cape May Cafe to feature a steamed snow crab add-on to their menu. I know it's not quite the same, but we're getting close.
I'd also periodically check menus at
Narcoossee's and
Todd English's bluezoo. They're both amazing seafood restaurants, and you might luck into what you want.
Good luck, Mimi!
Anna
