My husband, daughter, and I are new WDW Season Passholders. How is the Fantasyland preview supposed to be different from the dress rehearsals? Is it worth the time to go to the preview? We will be there 11/4-11/9.

Hi, Jennifer!  I think by dress rehearsals, you mean soft opening, so I'll base my answer on that.  If I'm wrong, please let me know that I misunderstood!

A soft opening is something that isn't really predictable.  While they are preparing for the grand opening, they will let guests in to check out some of the attractions.

The biggest difference is that the preview days should be virtually the same as going after it's officially open.  Things should be up and running as they will be when the area opens to the general public.  You can't really rely on that with a soft opening, as they may be testing or trying some things, while others are still closed.

I always love the passholder preview events, but if you're traveling from a distance, it may be fine to just hope for some soft opening sneak peeks.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
