Ahoy there, Rebecca!
Welcome aboard, planDisney! I want to thank your husband for his service and your family for their sacrifice. I can't think of a better way to celebrate your husband's homecoming than a Disney Cruise Line vacation on the newest ship in the fleet, the
Disney Destiny. I was recently on the Destiny, and I know what a special voyage your family is about to experience. With so many unique character opportunities and entertainment offerings, the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be your guide to all these fabulous experiences, so be sure to download it before you arrive at Port Everglades. You can start planning your must-dos as soon as you are checked in at the terminal!
Disney Cruise Line recognizes special occasions at dinner with a special dessert. I know your dining team would be thrilled to help your crew celebrate your family's reunion during your dining time. If you'd like to add a note on your reservation online, head to "My Reservations" and select "Special Requests." In this section, you'll see a spot for "Celebrations" and can check the box for "Reunions." I also know that in the past, my family has received a "Magical Moments" certificate while onboard. If you stop by Guest Services, you can ask if one can be left outside your stateroom to commemorate this special sailing. A memorable souvenir would be to frame it along with a picture of your family on the ship. Also, if you'd like to check out the
In-Room Gifts & Amenities section, cakes and cupcakes can be added to your reservation up to seven days before departure, and all other items up to three days before departure. It might be fun to add a stateroom surprise for your family!
Rebecca, I hope the next month flies by as you count down to your husband's return home and your sailing with your favorite superheroes and villains! If you have any other questions, we are always here to help.
Nancy
