My husband and I will be cruising Alaska at the end of August with our 3-year old son. Are we able to leave our son in the care of the Oceaneer Club counselors and take a trip to shore? I don't like the idea, but shore activities are geared for ages 5+.

    Ahoy there Tara!
There are some incredible Port Adventures offered on the Alaskan voyages on the Disney Wonder! No matter what you choose, it looks like you will be immersed in the beauty, nature and wildlife that this area is known for!  I know you might be a little uneasy about leaving your son onboard, but the trained youth counselors will make sure he is safe and sound while you are off exploring and enjoying the magnificent ports of call.  My kids have experienced the Oceaneer Club at different ages and each time they have the time of their life in these engaging spaces!  I hope your little one will have the same experience!
If you haven't already, be sure to check out Cruise Mom Andi's Alaskan Video Series!  She cruised this spectacular itinerary last summer and has some great info and tips for future cruisers like you!  Have a look and keep me posted on any other cruise questions!
Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!
