My husband and I both use Cpap machines. I've contacted guest services about the need for an extension chord and they added the request to our reservation, "based on availability." Do we also need a power strip, if so any specifications?

Welcome aboard, Christina! You're already ahead of the game by contacting Guest Services to add your medical information to your cruise reservation. Now that they have that, it's time for you to start planning all of the other exciting additions to your cruise vacation with Disney Cruise Line!

Be sure to check out the exciting Port Adventures, the Adult Exclusive Dining at Palo and Remy, and the fabulous spa treatments at Senses Spa and Salon. When your online check-in begins (75 days prior to sailing for first time guests, 90 or more days prior for returning guests), you can log in and begin making reservations for some of those fun extras!

Since Disney already has your Cpap information and the request for an extension cord, no need to bring a power strip. In fact, those are on the prohibited items list, so guests cannot bring their own extension cords or power strips/surge protectors. Disney Cruise Line will be sure the extension cord they provide is suitable for use in your stateroom, whether they add a power strip to it themselves, or not. The engineers onboard the ship make that call, so rest assured they'll have it all taken care of.

Have fun as you continue planning your adventure at sea, Christina!
