My husband is convinced we don't need reservations for our meals? Do we? Also, we're trying to plan around a 2 yr olds' schedule, which is nearly impossible, so how do we manage reservations and the 2 yr old??

    Christine,

I think I just got a related question from you, so I thought I would give you some more suggestions related to Advanced Dining Reservations.

We schedule a breakfast most every morning, because our girls are up pretty reliably at the same time every day. We make them later in the morning than usual, and pack granola bars and other breakfast-oriented snacks in case we need to give them something to nibble on if they get hungry. Also, breakfasts are often when the best child-oriented meals are held.

Based on experience traveling with a 2-year old, we schedule only 1 lunch the whole vacation. That way we can be as flexible with our eating schedule through the heart of the day.

As for dinners, we schedule several, but are prepared to cancel them, based on the girls appetites. With a large, sit-down breakfast, and probably at least a decent lunch, they are probably not going to be demanding a big evening meal anyway.

So I would suggest you plan 1 good meal each day, breakfast or dinner, and use counter service at other times.

Please feel free to send me any follow-up questions!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
