My husband has a convention for his work at the Contemporary this August. I am planning to join him, as are our friends, any adivce on when and how convention booking open up and if we can get our firends a room with our convention discount too?

Hi Joy! How lucky that your husband has a convention at Disney -- that's the kind of business trip we all want to take!

Generally the organization hosting the convention will provide you with booking information, including a link and telephone number to make resort reservations and purchase specially-priced theme park tickets. Your husband should find this information on the convention registration materials.

Often, convention attendees are allowed to book additional rooms for friends and family by noting on their reservations the name of the convention attendee with whom they're traveling.  Just ask when you call to book your own room.

Hope you have a great time!
