My husband has a conference in April and we can stay at the Walt Disney Dolphin Resort. We have three children and we will be there for 4 nights. Will their standard room be okay? We only get one room paid for. And can we bring sleeping bags?

    Cherie,

I have stayed many times at the Dolphin with a family. What you are presumably going to get is a room with two double beds (not queens). That means, without a doubt, that you would have someone sleeping on the floor. There is no couch for the third child to use.

Technically the rooms are listed for an occupancy of 5, so I would presume that they intend that to be 2 per bed with a 5th child in a pack and play. You can always bring sleeping bags, but know that it is going to be VERY cramped. Floor space is very much at a minimum in those rooms.

My recommendation is that if you can find the money (and I know, that is more than just pocket change), you probably will enjoy your stay more with a second room. If, however, this is not an option, be prepared for a sleeper on the floor and tight quarters.

Sorry I can't offer a more uplifting information, but better to know and prepare accordingly than have it ruin your trip!

    Have a magical vacation!
