My husband and I are coming to WDW Dec. 11-18. This trip is for my birthday and I would love to have dinner at The Coral Reef and do the Candlelight Dinner Package. Do you know when tickets will go on sale for this? Anything I should know? Never done it b4

Hi, Alicia!  Of all of the special holiday events at Walt Disney World, the Candlelight Processional is my absolute very favorite.  It is a must do for my family every year.

I don't know when the packages will be offered, however, I have found in the past it is usually sometimes towards the end of spring.  Last year, it wasn't until July, so you just can't really pinpoint the exact date.  Keep watching our site or the Official Walt Disney World website for up to the minute information.

Things to know - well, you have to dine prior to your show, so if you are hoping to do the earliest show, your package will actually be a lunch time package.  The last show of the evening ends just a short time before Illuminations begins, and in years past, they have offered dinner package guests a special Illuminations viewing spot.  I have found that my family just can't get there.  Someone has to go to the bathroom, someone needs a drink, or we're just caught up in the traffic of people exiting the theater and by the time we get to the viewing area, it's already quite full.  It's best to just grab a spot when you come out.

Also, even though you have preferred entrance into the show, don't wait until the last minute!  The theater will fill up fairly quickly, so give yourself a little time to wait in line.

I hope you love this Christmas offering as much as I do.  It's truly where my holiday spirit comes from each year.
