We (my husband and I) are coming down with our two girls (3 and 7) and my dad, os there are 5 of us. We don't want to spend the money on a villa, but need room for 5 . We would prefer a place with monorail access. Any suggestions? thanks!

Hi Sarah! The rooms in the three monorail resorts all can accommodate 5 people. The Grand Floridian, the Polynesian and the Contemporary resorts are all on the monorail line so zipping into and out of the Magic Kingdom is super quick and easy. These three resorts have very large rooms, generally with two queen beds and a day bed.

Of these three resorts, my favorite is the Grand Floridian. It's the most luxurious resort at Disney World. As a mom of a messy family, I love that at the Grand Floridian we receive twice-daily maid service and that the huge rooms have hampers for our dirty clothes. I love that it's right next to the Magic Kingdom and you can watch the fireworks from the comfort of your balcony in many rooms or from the grounds of the resort. In the evening, you can listen to an orchestra playing as you stroll through the lobby, and you have several gourmet restaurants within the hotel as well a short monorail ride away. My kids enjoy the fun slide at the pool.

The Contemporary and Polynesian are great too. The Contemporary has large, super-modern rooms and the monorail runs right through the resort so you don't have to step outside to wait for it, which is nice in cooler weather. The Polynesian has a relaxing tropical atmosphere, great restaurants and a fun volcano pool.

You really can't go wrong with any of these resorts! Feel free to visit me again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
