My husband and I are coming to Disney May 2010. We would like to know if early check in done on line is better then when we get to our Resort? We are coming for a special occasion but we want to request a room closest to the food court and buses. Thanks

    Judy,

Online check in is a great feature that allows you to speed up your check-in time once you arrive at the resort. The regular lines can get pretty long, so this is a pretty valuable time savings.

When you do the online check-in, you get a few options for room preferences that you can request. When I did Online Check-In recently, the two choices were "Close to Transportation" and "Ground Floor".

Now what if you don't like the room they picked for you? No worries. They did not assign one that was good for me, so right there they picked another, and I was on my way (and still faster than the other guests that were in the regular check-in lines).

The bottom line is that there is no reason not to do Online Check-In, and several reasons why you should. Even if they don't pick a room for you that really meets with your preferences, you are not forced to take it. And if they do pick a room that you find acceptable, you are on your way to the fun MUCH, MUCH faster!

Feel free to send me any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
