My husband chose WDW for an anniv trip so I could see all the holiday magic & the CP. We even set up a dinner package so we’ll get a seat. There is no narrator scheduled yet though. Should we be nervous that they’ll cancel it if they don’t have one?

    Hi, Alicia!

Well I would say that a man who plans a Walt Disney World vacation is a keeper, but one who plans to take you during the Christmas season - now that guy is one to hold onto. I think it is truly the most wonderful, magical time of the year to be at Walt Disney World.

Epcot is probably my favorite theme park during the holiday season, and the Candlelight Processional is a big reason. I can't get through the whole thing without happy, holiday tears filling my eyes. This classic retelling of the story of the nativity features a celebrity narrator each night, so don't you worry, they'll have someone there on the night you have your Candlelight Processional dining package. As you can imagine, celebrities are super busy most of the year, but it's especially tough during the holidays to pin some of them down. But somehow, Disney manages every year to do it. As of now, they've just added a few more to the lineup, and I think there's only one more date left to fill. It can be fun just imagining who you might see!

If you happen to be there for one of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party nights, I highly recommend it. It's a festive night, filled with holiday entertainment, special holiday snacks, and beautiful, drifting snow. There are also lighter crowds than on many of the theme park days, so it may be a great way to ride some of your favorite attractions a time or two.

    Happy Anniversary, Alicia!
