    My husband and 2 children (ages 11 & 4) and I will be visiting Animal Kingdom on February18th which is my birthday. Could you recommend a place in the park to make reservations for lunch/dinner? I'd love my kids to see mom enjoy her special day

    Happy birthday, Julie! Sounds like a perfect day planned. The safari at the Animal Kingdom is one of my favourite Disney attractions. I have two suggestions for you for lunch at the park. Yak and Yeti has great decor, and serves Asian food. The kids menu includes egg rolls and veggie lo mein, but also has the old stand bys like yummy burgers.

    You also might want to go to the Tusker House. It's a buffet that has something for everyone, and includes standard fare as well as African tastes. In addition, guests who reserve lunch at Tusker House  between 1-1:40 pm receive a reserved seat for the 3:15 pm performance of the Finding Nemo musical. You can reserve ahead by calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463).
