    My husband and I are certified divers and would love to participate in the Epcot DiveQuest while visiting in August. Are there any special arrangements available for Disney Surpervision for our two children, ages 5 and 8, while we dive?

    Diana,

    I do not believe that they provide any special child supervision for DiveQuest. But if there is any way for you to do this great scuba experience, do it! My wife (the fiancee) and I did it, and it is an extremely memorable time for us both. I was the novice, she was the expert, but we both found it to be fun.

    As for taking care of the kids, here are two suggestions;

    a) Drop them off at a child activity center at one of the Disney resorts. Of course you have to have a DiveQuest time of 4 pm or later, so that may not work, but these centers would be as fun for them as the dive would be for you!

    b) Kids Nite Out (www.kidsniteout.com). This baby-sitting service is not from Disney, but Disney even mentions them on their site. They are a bonded, well-respected organization that will make time for your kids fun too. Plus they are available 24 hrs a day, so no worries on your schedule.

    So find a way to try this great experience, and write me back if you have any questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
