My husband and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary at DW in the fall. We'll arrive at the resort (hopefully :-) by noon and have a 6 pm dinner reservation in Downtown Disney. Any suggestions on the best way to use the time in between? Tnx!

What a great way to celebrate a milestone anniversary!  Congratulations!

If you don't want to go into a theme park, there's plenty to do!  You can relax by the pool - even if your room isn't ready.  Take a small bag with your bathing suits inside, and there are restrooms at the resort where you can change into your suits for an afternoon swim or to soak up some sun.  You can browse the shops at your resort, or take a nice walk around the property to check the place out.

You don't say where you are staying, but many of the Walt Disney World resorts have activities that range from poolside games to a variety of water activities.  Check at the front desk when you arrive to see what may be going on at your resort.

I would probably head to Downtown Disney and do some shopping or catch a movie.  There are so many wonderful shops there, and the Pleasure Island AMC plays first run movies.  You might even take a ride on the Characters in Flight hot air balloon.  This will give you an incredible view of Walt Disney World and a romantic ride to boot!

    Have a wonderful anniversary!
