Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    My husband and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary in January 2011. We arrive on 1/9/2011. Which is more romantic, the carriage ride at Port Orleans or Fort Wilderness? How can I make an online reservation?

    Happy anniversary Kathy! Disney World is the perfect spot to celebrate your silver anniversary, and a carriage ride is a fantastic idea! I think you'll be totally pleased with either choice. Port Orleans is a lovely ride along the Sassagoula River and through the resort. And the best part of this option is you can enjoy delicious beignets while you're there! I also love that you can take a relaxing boat ride from the resort to Downtown Disney.

    Fort Wilderness is a special spot for my family, as we grew up spending our Disney vacations there. It is a gorgeous campground, and a peaceful setting. In the evening, you can also view the Electric Water Pageant and fireworks, a perfect, romantic ending to your anniversary.
