Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Erin!
My husband and I also celebrate our anniversary in December, and last year we celebrated by attending
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, too! Before you enter
Magic Kingdom Park on the date indicated on your Christmas Party tickets, you’ll want to swing by one of the ticket windows right outside the entrance to make sure they “prioritize” your Party ticket over your single-day Theme Park ticket. Then, after you’ve been admitted for the Party, you can check your
My Disney Experience mobile app (under “My Profile” and “Tickets and Passes”) to make sure the correct ticket was used. Should you run into any issues, stop by the Guest Relations office to your left as you enter Main Street, U.S.A. and they should be able to sort out any issues. Either way, swing by this location or ask any Cast Member about picking up your complimentary “Happily Ever After” buttons to designate the number of yEARs you and your husband are celebrating together.
You’ll love Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Erin. Although the Party doesn’t officially get underway until 7 p.m., you are correct that you should be able to enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4 p.m. with your Party ticket. If you’d like to enjoy dinner in the Theme Park before the Party begins, I would recommend making a reservation around 5 or 5:30 p.m. so that you’re finished with dinner in time for the Party’s official start. In addition to
Cinderella’s Royal Table, I recommend the
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen or
Tony’s Town Square Restaurant as options for your celebratory meal.
Please let us know if we can offer any additional tips, hints or recommendations. We’d love to help make your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth the best it can be.
