My husband and I are going to celebrate our 5 year old's birthday at Magic Kingdom. We are bringing our 2 year old as well. Since we live in FL, we are driving up on his birthday. What time should we get there when the park opens at 9:00am?

What a great way to celebrate a birthday!  I hope your son has a wonderful time and makes lots of Happy Birthday memories!

I like to arrive at the parking lot at the Magic Kingdom about 30 minutes before the park opens.  It can take that long to get from the Transportation and Ticket Center to the Magic Kingdom itself, and then you'll be in line to get into the theme park.  If you are going and getting a free birthday admission for your son, you might want to go a little bit earlier so you can get into the line you may find at the Will Call window, which is where you get the birthday pass.

If you are parked by 8:15, you should be at the turnstiles by 9 o'clock.  And then the birthday festivities can begin!
