My husband can't join us for our entire week stay at Disney. How does that work with park tickets and meal plans?

    Hi Laurie,

I am sorry that your husband will not be with you during your entire Disney vacation.

If you are on a Disney package, then everyone in the room has to be on the same package. This includes tickets and meal plans. The Disney meal plan is linked to tickets which is why with a package tickets and dining plan have to match. In addition, your tickets are for the length of your stay.

If you purchase everything separately, then you can customize your needs. For example, if you are there for seven days but have a late flight in and an early return flight, you may only want a five day ticket. Also, if your husband is only there for three days, then you would want him to have a three day ticket instead of seven. You may also not want all of the food the meal plan offers. Or you may have a child over 9 who would rather eat off the child's menu instead of the adult menu.

Your husband will need to be on your reservation so he has access to the room as well as Disney transportation and Extra Magic Hours.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
