Hi there, Amy! Welcome to planDisney!
Can you believe that you're only a couple of weeks away from your magical vacation to
Walt Disney World Resort?! But oh, bother - I'm sorry that your husband won't be able to go on your trip with you. I'm so happy to hear that you're planning on sharing this magic with your mom! As my pal Olaf says, "Some people are worth melting for."
Amy, since you've already reassigned your husband's park ticket to your mom, you'll want to check and see if the original Theme Park Reservation made with the
Disney Park Pass system is still attached to the ticket! To do this, log into your account, hover your mouse over the
My Disney Experience tab, and click
My Plans. Scroll down past My Plans, Reservations and Tickets until you see your reservations. You'll want to take a look at the days when you're using your theme park tickets and look for the Theme Park Reservations on those days. If you see your Disney Park Pass with both your names listed underneath it, you should be good to go!
If you only see your name listed under your Disney Park Passes but not your mom's, you'll want to make sure that you make these reservations as soon as you're able. Take a peek at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar! At the time of this writing, it looks like there is full availability on both May 21 and 22 with partial availability the rest of the week. As Guests' plans often shift and change, it's not unusual for more availability to pop up in the future. And if it does, you'll want to make sure you scoop it up quickly! I like to check for my desired reservations a few times each day by keeping the page open and refreshing it. You may also want to consider upgrading your theme park tickets to include the
Park Hopper Option! If you do this, you can make your Theme Park Reservation for an available park in the morning, then hop to another park after 2 PM. This is a great way to maximize the magic! And if you find that you need more assistance as you're putting the finishing touches on your magical vacation, you are welcome to
call a Cast Member who will be more than happy to help!
I'd also suggest taking some time to download and explore the
My Disney Experience app prior to your trip! A little like holding your own magic wand in your hand, you'll be able to unlock everything that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. You can check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even
mobile order food! This way, you know your meals and snacks will be ready and waiting for you right when you want them.
I hope I was able to help you today, Amy! If you have any other questions, please visit us again. After all, you've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
