My husband is buying tickets for our whole family, but he may not be joining us on the trip itself until after we arrive. Since the tickets are being purchased on his credit card, would he have to present it before we can enter?

Bright suns Victoria, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. You'll be walking down Main Street, U.S.A. before you know it, so let’s make sure you’re all set for getting into the park!

You shouldn’t need the credit card used for the ticket order to enter the park, unless you misplaced the eTickets. In that case, any Disneyland Resort Box Office can re-issue your tickets with the credit card used to purchase them, a photo ID, and the initial order confirmation email.

To avoid having to do that, I’d recommend linking your eTickets to the Disneyland app. This way, you can easily access the tickets from your phone and even book Lightning Lane Passes for the whole family.

To link the tickets, open the Disneyland app, select ☰ in the lower right corner, go to My Tickets & Passes, and select Link Tickets & Passes. Here you can use your phone’s camera to scan the eTicket barcode or QR code, or manually input the Type ID. You’ll have to repeat this for each ticket.

April is an out-of-this-world time to visit Disneyland Park because the Season of the Force event will be in full swing! Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the full details, which are usually announced in the Spring. So far we know that you’ll be able to race through the galaxy and dodge TIE fighters when Hyperspace Mountain takes over Space Mountain for this special event! And the Fire of the Rising Moons projection show will run nightly, bringing our favorite Star Wars songs to life. On select nights, there are even fireworks to add extra sparkle to the show. It’s such a unique and magical experience to watch the nighttime spectacular from Batuu. While it’s a different vibe than the more traditional show in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, it’s a must-do for Star Wars fans!

I’m wishing you a pixie-dusted visit to the Happiest Place on Earth this April! And if you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.

May the force be with you, Victoria!
