Hi Katelyn,
I recently visited
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and it was a blast. The theming at a Disney Water Park is next level and it was such a nice break during our vacation to relax and play all day. There is something for everyone there from the most adventurous to the little ones who are splashing their fins for the first time.
The Bay Slides are a great place for you to get your feet wet and let your little one try out some slides for the first time. It is only available for younger kids so there won't be a lot of bigger kids around to make them nervous. You can wait for them at the bottom and let them try on their own to build up some confidence for a bigger thrill around the corner.
There are
several thrilling slides and attractions available to guests without height restrictions. If your kid is a thrill seeker then they will love checking out these rides alongside you. My family likes a little more chill in our day so we spend more time at
Castaway Creek floating along the lazy river in tubes!
Miss Adventure Falls is also a must-do family experience. You will hop on board a raft and take a family-friendly whitewater adventure that will be thrilling for your little one but not too intense.
I also recommend renting a
Beachcomber Shack or a
Typhoon Lagoon Umbrella so you have a place to rest and relax in the shade. My family loves having a place to relax but it also serves as a great place to meet back up regularly during the day while you explore different attractions.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
