Hi Susan!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for finding us hEAR and asking this great
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. First off, allow me to say a super chEARs to you and your husband for reaching such a wonderful milestone! I think a
Grand Adventure is the perfect way to celebrate your love for each other and your family.
Mine is a Military family too, and I definitely understand how important together time is. Currently the Military offers created directly by Disney are for U.S. Military families, and they are also only for those who are Active Duty, current Reservists, fully retired after 20+ years of service or 100% medically retired. But! The Military Ticket Offices on our U.S. bases/posts are authorized Disney ticket retailers and usually have slightly discounted tickets that the same group of service members can buy, but there are no restrictions on who can use the tickets. I've purchased these tickets and given them to my parents and also my friends before without being present. So definitely check with your nearest military installation to see if they have anything like that.
I'm not out of ideas, Susan. Mickey has wonderful
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts available to all of his friends. Double check any memberships or clubs to which you belong, like the Canadian Automobile Association or even a warehouse "bulk" store as these often feature their own travel discounts and deals. And also, keep your eyes peeled for discounted
Disney Gift Cards; some locations sell these cards with slightly more value added to them than the amount you end up paying. And since you can use these cards to pay for everything from your
Disney Resort Hotel to your
Disney Dining Plan, those savings can really add up.
I hope this information helped plan your upcoming Disney Days, Susan, and if you have any more Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
