Hi Rebecca!
WOW! You're planning nice long vacation. Can I confess that I'm just a bit jealous?
Personally, I
would recommend checking in at your resort, enjoying yourself, and then heading over to the
Magic Kingdom on your first full day. I would suggest
making a dinner reservation somewhere in the park- perhaps the
Crystal Palace
so you can dine with Pooh & Friends. Top off your night with a viewing of Wishes!
Now, for the rest of your days, I think you can be somewhat flexible.
Personally, I like to alternate longer park touring days with shorter
ones so my feet can recover! For instance, if I've spent a full day at
Epcot, my next day might be a short one at Hollywood Studios.
Fantasmic! is a must-do for our family, so be sure to schedule time to see it at Hollywood Studios. If you're
interested, there is also a
Fantasmic Dining Package
that might work for you. If you go for this meal plan, our favorite
restaurant choice is Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano. Or, if you
prefer to forgo the Fantasmic dining package, a great restaurant choice
at the Studios is the Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater!
Perhaps halfway though your vacation, you can schedule some shopping and dining time at Downtown Disney. Sleep late, enjoy a quick dip in your resort pool and THEN head over for great food and shopping. On days where you won't be spending a full day touring, a dinner reservation at a resort other than the one you're staying at. You'll get a chance to explore a little more of the resorts and enjoy some great dining venues. I love trips to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. If you head there, be sure to ask for a calendar of events at the lobby concierge. There are quite a few fun *and free* activities that your family may love!
Have a WONDERFUL trip!
