My husband and I want to bring my two granddaughters in October 8-13. I have been to Disney many times but they have never been. I am trying to speak to a specialist to give me an idea of how much it will cost so I can start planning.

Hi there Anji! Welcome to planDisney!

As a former Guest of Walt Disney World Resort you know the magic that surrounds you when you're on the property! Between the four fantastic Theme Parks, the unique and delicious dining options and the loveable character friends at every turn you know that a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is unlike any other.  I bet you can't wait to share some of your favorite experiences with your granddaughters on their first trip!

To really give your little girls a pixie-dusted vacation you might think about staying right on-site in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel.  As a well-versed Disney-goer, you probably know that there are three types of Resorts available, Deluxe, Moderate and Value.  By heading to the Walt Disney World Resort website you can put in the dates for your trip and see which category best suits your family's needs and budget.  I love the Value Resorts like Disney's Art of Animation Resort because of the larger-than-life décor and ease of transportation to some Parks with the Disney Skyliner right on Resort property!  I have to say that of all the Resorts I've stayed in the Moderate Resort of Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter is the one we choose the most! We love the atmosphere, the ability to walk between it and Disney's Port Orleans Resort -Riverside and the short boat ride to Disney Springs!  Finally, if you're looking for a Deluxe Resort, I always recommend Disney's Beach Club Resort.  Did you know that Stormalong Bay, the pool at the Resort, has a sand bottom, a waterslide AND a lazy river!? To me, it's hands-down the best pool on property and we love the ability to walk to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios from our Resort!

Looking for Theme Park Ticket prices? You can find these online as well! On the Walt Disney World Resort website just click Parks and Tickets and scroll down to Theme Park Tickets.  Here, you'll be able to input how many magical days you plan to spend at the Parks and whether you would like to add on options like the Park Hopper Option or Water Park and Sports Option. After making these decisions you'll have a more accurate idea of the cost of your upcoming trip.

If you're feeling a little overwhelmed with all the planning options you can always look for an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner to help guide your way! These knowledgeable agents will help you plan everything from Resort reservations to Advance Dining Reservations to extra magical experiences without any extra cost to you! I suggest looking for one with a quick internet search if you're interested!

I hope you find that a dreamy vacation is a definite possibility for you and your granddaughters, Anji!  If you want more personalized help from a Disney Cast Member, feel free to call (407) 939-1936 to start really setting your plans in stone!
