    Christine from FL Asked

My husband and I were booked to visit Disney World last weekend. Unfortunately I had a death in the family and had to return to my home in South Florida and cancel the reservations. Is there a chance to get the tickets extended beyond the 7/14/21 date?

    Heigh-Ho Christine,

My condolences to you and your family during this difficult time. Walt Disney World will always be here to Welcome You Home when you are ready.

Guests with unused tickets, that extend beyond their use date, are able to use the value of their tickets towards the purchase of tickets for a future Walt Disney World vacation. When you are ready to plan your next Walt Disney World vacation, I recommend calling a Cast Member at (407) 566-4985 for further assistance with your Walt Disney World tickets. In the meantime, if you have not already done so, I would create a My Disney Experience account and download the mobile app. Here you can link your current Walt Disney World tickets to your account information and keep them in a safe place for reference.

Your My Disney Experience online account and mobile app are your vacation hub. Here Guests have control of your Walt Disney World Resort reservation, can purchase, modify and upgrade your Walt Disney World tickets, search for and make table-service dining reservations, create and learn about the new Disney MagicMobile service, select and pay for mobile food and beverage orders and that’s just a little bit of what this pixie-dusted tool can do for you. Check out all its features prior to your next Walt Disney World vacation.

planDisney is ready to help every step of the way and is looking forward to helping you when you are ready. Follow the Disney Parks Blog for exciting Disney News, especially for updates about the 50th Walt Disney World Anniversary Celebration beginning October 1, 2021, and check out our Instagram (@planDisneypanel) for more Disney Magic.

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,
