My husband & I just booked a last minute trip for the Star Wars 10k at Disney World. We're planning on Magic Kingdom Friday morning then the expo before going to Hollywood Studios. What's our best option for transportation to and from the expo?

    Hi Emily!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How fun for you and your hubby to be able to fit in a last minute trip! I think y'all are going to have a blast running the Star Wars 10K.

Transportation to the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo is provided from all the Walt Disney World Resort hotels during race weekends. Since you'll be starting your morning at the Magic Kingdom, I'd recommend catching the bus from Disney's Contemporary Resort! When you leave Magic Kingdom as you exit the main gates you can actually walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort in just a few short minutes. You can then take the bus from here to the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo to pick up your bib and race packet! This property map will show you the pathway between the two.

After you are done at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo, you will have two options. My first recommendation would be to take the bus to Disney's BoardWalk Inn then walk to Disney's Hollywood Studios from there. I'd estimate that it would be no longer than a 15 minute walk! I know some runners are concerned about saving their legs the day before so if you are you can take the boat from Disney's BoardWalk Inn to Disney's Hollywood Studios. I'd estimate this would take at least 30 minutes, but it's entirely up to you. I hope y'all have a wondEARful trip!
