My husband and I booked a last minute 1 day trip for June, and I’m so excited! We were only able to snag an Epcot park reservation. If we start at Epcot, which park do you think would be smartest to hop to later in the day to avoid long waits in lines?

Hi there, Katelynn! Welcome back to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach back out and asking another excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Walt Disney World Resort is inviting Guests back to experience a world of magic and begin making all new memories that will last a lifetime! During my recent visits, I have felt incredibly safe due to the amazing measures being taken to protect all who visit. You may notice some changes during future visits such as enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, modified experiences to reduce contact, and more

One change to keep in mind is the need for all Guests to have reservations prior to visiting any of the four theme parks! Theme park reservations may be made through the Disney Park Pass system as soon as you have purchased tickets and connected them to your My Disney Experience account. It is also highly recommended that Guests take a peek at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online to verify that there is availability during their anticipated travel dates.

With the Park Hopper Option, Guests can “hop” over to a different park after they have made reservations at their initial destination and entered the said park! Choosing which theme park to visit next can definitively be a challenge! It can be a bit difficult to anticipate which park will be the most crowded so my pro-tip would be to keep an eye on wait times with the My Disney Experience app. This is a great way to gauge crowd levels and identify which attractions you would like to experience.

I hope you have a magical time visiting Walt Disney World Resort later this month! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as well!
