My husband and I booked our first Disney Cruise on the Magic for Dec 27. We really want to tell our children 5 and 9 on Christmas morning, but we have to get them passports, etc. prior to that. Any suggestions?

    Ahoy Shelly!
I love a Disney Cruise surprise and recently kept our Spring Break cruise a secret until two days prior to our magical departure.  My kids' reaction was well-worth all the planning and preparation behind the scenes!  Since your two are young, you can probably get away with telling them they are at the age that they need some sort of "official identification" such a passport.  You can add that they aren't hold enough to get a Driver's License so their passport will serve in its place until they are at the age to have a license.
I really hope you can pull off your Christmas surprise, Shelly!  I used the storage room in our basement to pack and get everything together, and my kiddos never suspected a thing!  I also planned a special Character Call from Disney Cruise Line right after the big reveal which added the perfect dose pixie dust to it all!
Please let me know if I can help you further!  Good luck!
