Hi, My husband and I just got back from Disney's Fort Wilderness campground and had a wonderful time, but the site we had for a week was a little too far from the bus stop and I am just wondering if there is a way to reserve a certain site # online

You can request to be in a particular area of Fort Wilderness. Site requests are not guaranteed, but Disney does attempt to satisfy as many guest requests as possible.

If you have a very specific request, I would do this over the phone at 407-W-DISNEY rather than online. It is often much easier to explain to a person what you're trying to achieve (near the pool, near the boat dock, etc.) and they can help you shape your request for maximum success.

I would also follow-up on your request by contacting Fort Wilderness directly a few days before your trip. Panelist Bret describes how to do this HERE.

    Good luck with your planning.
