My husband will be attending a conference in May at WDW and our daughter and myself will be coming along also. My parents will be there but staying at another WDW resort. Is there a shuttle that runs between resorts if I stay a night with them?

In most cases, there is no direct resort-to-resort transportation at Walt Disney World. However, you are welcome to use Disney's free transportation system to visit your parents - you'll just need to make a transfer.  For example, if you were staying at the Pop Century resort and your parents were staying at the Yacht Club, you could take the bus from Pop to the Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park and then transfer to the boat to the Yacht Club. Or, if you were staying at the Contemporary and wanted to visit your parents at the Port Orleans resort, you could take the monorail to either the Transportation and Ticket Center or the Magic Kingdom and then transfer to a bus to Port Orleans. This sounds more complicated than it is, thousands of guests make resort to resort transfers every day.

You should know that there is monorail service between the Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian resorts. There is also boat (or foot) transportation between the Yacht/Beach Clubs, Boardwalk, and Swan & Dolphin resorts.

Good luck with your planning and enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World.
